Create or modify system profiles

This topic describes how to create or modify system profiles in Unisphere for PowerMax, allowing users to learn about managing system settings and applying them to storage arrays.

To create a system profile:

Steps

  1. From the main menu, click Unisphere for PowerMax.
    The home dashboard view is displayed.
  2. Optional: Go to the left panel and click Configuration > System Profiles to open the System Profiles view.
    The system profiles that are associated with the storage system are displayed.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Click Create.
    • Select a system profile, click More icon, and click Modify Profile .
  4. Set or modify any number of the following setting types:
  5. Click OK.
    The System Profiles view is displayed.
